Since I LOVE TO SWIM, on Thursday, my brother-in-law and I decided we wanted to swim across the lake, which was really far!! We did exercises to get ready to swim across...the pictures of us dancing around in the water!! Then Tara and my cousin drove with us in the motorboat in case we needed help!! We did good and neither of us needed the boat!! We got to the other side and rested!! It was a long haul over there!! Then Matt got in to drive the boat and I was going to ride with him but decided to try to swim back!!! So, Tara, Tandy, and I headed back over!! It was even longer back because the current had gotten stronger and we kept swimming down stream instead of straight across like on the way over!! BUT...I DID IT!! It was kind of crazy but fun!! When I got back to the other side, I could barely walk I was so tired!! But it just took me a little while of resting and I was good to go!! It was so much fun!! Tara sang "Did you ever know that you're my hero?" to me...on the way over and on the way back!! It was hilarious!! We wished we could have measured it but didn't have anything with us to do that! All I know is that, it was a long haul!! BUT...a fun haul!!

Hi Tiff..sorry I haven't sent a "comment" earlier! You done good to swim across Titus :-). You got some great pictures, too. Mine came out pretty good - I have a nice sunrise, should get a copy of your "sunset" to go with it! Guess the folks are getting ready to pull out of Titus this morning, since it is 10:40. We had Uncle K's retirement gathering last night..it was fun. Mostly family, with Aunt Mamie, Art and Bro. & Sis. S. Got my third (and last for this year) boat ride - that's kind of a highlight.
