A retarded microphone...
Okay...I'm posting this for a friend. For anyone else that still checks my blog...hahaha...this video is a hoot!! : ) Okay, so I was in my best friend's wedding...unfortunately, I was using a cordless microphone that was broken!! The only way you could get it to turn on was by weirdly twisting the bottom and pushing this insanely tiny little button!! TOO FUNNY!! So...this clip will give you a good laugh!! I was staring back at the sound guy trying to tell him with my eyes, there was nothing else I could do!! My friend who was recording missed the best part, when the sound guy walked all the way from the back to the front, took the microphone from me (while I kept singing) and then handed it back to me, once he got it turned on!! It was "trip"!! Haha! Enjoy...

An Update???

Oh my gosh...I'm actually updating my blog!! Can you believe it? Okay so anyway, just to let all of you know why I haven't updated my blog!! First of all...my move to Ohio has been a bit rough on me in a lot of different ways. Secondly...I get "spotty connection" from my neighbors!! Hahaha!! Free WiFi from my neighbors...gotta love it!! AND last but certainly not least...I use facebook more than this!! It's easier just to pop on facebook and post a "statement" rather than having to come up with a decent length "post" for your blog. So...I am on facebook a lot!! If you are on there, add me as a friend...
Well otherwise there isn't a lot new going on?! Same old, same old. Working, paying bills, and living life! Leave me a note or add me as a friend on facebook!! Love you all...

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!
Well...I'm a little behind on this but...I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving Day!! Mine was pretty good although very different. Since I had to work on Friday, I couldn't travel anywhere. So, I spent Thanksgiving alone but it wasn't too bad. It was very relaxing and peaceful! I wrapped Christmas presents, watched a couple holiday movies, ate a Thanksgiving Dinner (Thanks to Ryan's Buffet), and just relaxed!! It was a nice day although towards the evening, I did have a little bit of a meltdown. There is so much hype for the holidays and I guess I felt a little let down when I was crawling into bed. A few tears fell but I was okay...just hit me that the holiday was over and I hadn't been able to see or spend time with any of the people that I love!!
But I have much to be thankful for...there are some people who have NO ONE! I have lots of family and friends who love me, despite my not being able to be with them on the holiday! Not only that, but I had food to eat, I had clothes to wear, and on and on the list could go! As Americans, we have SO MUCH to be thankful for!! Since I had no new pictures...I found some old ones that I thought I would post!! Enjoy!! Love you all and Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!
Here are a few from last year 2007, when I spent Thanksgiving with Matt & Tara!! I cooked my first turkey!! It was an experience, as you can see below!! Hehehe!!

Do you ever feel this way??

Slow Me Down
By: Emmy Rossum
Rushing and racing and running in circles
Moving so fast I'm forgetting my purpose
Blur of the traffic is sending me spinning
Getting nowhere
My head and my heart are colliding chaotic
Pace of the world I just wish I could stop it
Try to appear like I've got it together
I'm falling apart
Rushing and racing and running in circles
Moving so fast I'm forgetting my purpose
Blur of the traffic is sending me spinning
Getting nowhere
My head and my heart are colliding chaotic
Pace of the world I just wish I could stop it
Try to appear like I've got it together
I'm falling apart
Save me
Somebody take my hand and lead me
Slow me down
Don't let love pass me by
Just show me how
Cause I'm ready to fall
Slow me down
Don't let me live a lie
Before my life flies by
I need you to slow me down
Sometimes I fear that I might disappear
In the blur of fast forward I falter again
Forgetting to breathe
I need to sleep
I'm getting nowhere
All that I've missed I see in the reflection
Pass me while I wasn't paying attention
Tired of rushing, racing and running
I'm falling apart
Tell me
Oh won't you take my hand and lead me
Slow me down
Don't let love pass me by
Just show me how
Cause I'm ready to fall
Slow me down
Don't let me live a lie
Before my life flies by
I need you to slow me down
Just show me
I need you to slow me down
Slow me down
Slow me down
The noise of the world is getting me caught up
Chasing the clock and I wish I could stop it
Just need to breathe
Somebody please
Slow me down
Somebody take my hand and lead me
Slow me down
Don't let love pass me by
Just show me how
Cause I'm ready to fall
Slow me down
Don't let me live a lie

Slow me down
Slow me down

Just need to breathe
Somebody please
Slow me down

...A Day of Contemplation...
I've spent a lot of today thinking about life and its complexities. My own situation begins to pale in the light of so many around the world who are suffering.
It's easy to immediately blame myself for thinking of my own problems yet at the same time...the reality remains, it is my life and the problems, situations, and issues all have to be dealt with...
I am very uncertain as to what I'm doing. I was speaking with a good friend and I mentioned how devastating it is to have my job security go from 100% to basically nothing in the amount of time it took me to read the email from our CEO. Life is very uncertain...
As Carl Sanburg said, "Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep." I guess this might be a "weepy" layer for me!! : )
But I'm doing my best to keep smiling... I think we often don't realize the value of what we have until we don't have it anymore. I realize now that when I left Lebanon, PA...I left some of the best friends life can give and one of the best support systems ever.
As I start this next week, I'm trying to improve my outlook on the situation. It was James F. Bymes who said, "Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem to be more afraid of life than death." The lack of job security right now could be an open opportunity...a chance for a new sunrise...
Before I end this melancholy post, allow me to present a rose to all my friends. You know who you are...if you are reading this, you are very likely someone who is included in the meaningful relationships of my life.

I love you...
