Phew!! I hit the big 25 on July 23rd, where I spent the whole day either in an airport or in a plane! Sis Rine, thanks for being the first one to bang on my door and wish me a happy birthday!! You're so great!! To all of our Belize trip crew...I don't know whether I like you or hate you all for embarrassing me like three times in airports, etc. BUT...thanks for remembering me and making my day fun and special!! It's a day I'll never forget! Once we arrived in Atlanta, Georgia...we missed our connecting flight, got put up in a hotel, and just got home today!! Thank goodness!!
Tara, thanks for putting that note on my blog!! That was very sweet of you!! AND...to all of you who took her silly advice...it meant so much to be greeted with lots and lots of cards & gifts!! You're all incredible!! Thanks so much!! I loved them all and they made my birthday very special!!
And last but certainly not least...thank you Sis Rine for making today (the day AFTER my birthday) special!! She bought me a scrumptious Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake and Homemade Turtle Trail Ice Cream to go with it!! It was DELISH!! Thanks, Sis Lois...I love you guys tons!!

Happy belated birthday! I can relate to your missed flight. In November, I was on a Christian "Girl's Get Away" cruise to the Bahamas, which was an awesome experience. Anyway, coming home my friend and I missed our flight in Atlanta due to a gate change. We were on standby flights up until 10pm and we realized we weren't getting home that night. After numerous phone calls, we got a free hotel room and were stuck in Atlanta til 1:30 the following day. (22hrs) I don't care if I never go to Atlanta again! Did you make it up for Penns Creek camp? I enjoy reading your blog since I don't get to say "hi" at the bank! Take care, Mandy Benner
